
TYPES OF THERAPY
Each modality is based on the core principles of Psychodynamic Therapy. Depending on what feels comfortable to you, there are options to choose from regarding what approach you want to take: art, music, dance movement, drama, play or talking.
Whatever you choose, the focus is on you, your health, your journey and the process of achieving your therapeutic goals, the art form is there to help you with this if you hit blocks verbalising your thoughts or find it hard to talk about certain subjects.


Arts Therapies is the umbrella term for art, music, dance movement, drama and play therapies. Each of these modalities have their own regulatory body, which is why the titles are a little different: Psychotherapy, Therapy and the all one word Dramatherapy. They are all held to a high standard with extensive training to become an accredited practitioner, just with varied names!
